New Hampshire Companies Issued Patents

HALO Maritime Defense Systems is one of many New Hampshire companies recently receiving patents from the United States Patent Office.

HALO Maritime Defense Systems of Newton has been assigned a patent (9,394,660) developed by three co-inventors for “energy absorption management for marine barrier and gate systems.” The co-inventors are Justin Bishop of West Caldwell, N.J., Judson DeCew of Rochester and Eric Johnson of Danvers, Mass. The patent application was filed on Nov. 26, 2014 (14/554,233).

Standex International of Salem has been assigned a patent (9,398,645) developed by Terry Gray of McKinney, Texas, for “current detecting and switching apparatus.” The patent application was filed on Jan. 16, 2014 (14/156,634).

VXI of Dover has been assigned a patent (9,398,361) developed by five co-inventors for a “headset system with user-configurable function button.” The co-inventors are David Jaques of Durham, Kevin Batson of Durham, William Blank Jr. of Hampton, David Geno of Rochester and Thomas Terrien Jr. of Portsmouth. The patent application was filed on Feb. 20, 2015 (14/627,106).

Plexxi of Nashua has been assigned a patent (9,397,747) developed by Denis deRuijter of Harvard, Mass., for a “method and apparatus for connectivity control in a data center network.” The patent application was filed on Dec. 4, 2013 (14/096,497).

Anar Solar of Derry has been assigned a patent (9,397,608) developed by three co-inventors for a “highly adjustable and adaptable exterior panel racking system.” The co-inventors are James Mandry of North Andover, Mass., Mark Pelletier of Derry and Raymond Matthew Bourque of Bristol. The patent application was filed on Jan. 7, 2015 (14/591,059).

Nanocomp Technologies of Merrimack has been assigned a patent (9,396,829) developed by four co-inventors for “carbon nanotube-based coaxial electrical cables and wiring harness.” The co-inventors are Jennifer Mann of Chichester, David Lashmore of Lebanon, Brian White of Manchester and Peter Antoinette of Nashua. The patent application was filed on Aug. 29, 2014 (14/472,850).

Hypertherm of Hanover has been assigned a patent (9,395,715) developed by two co-inventors for “identifying components in a material processing system.” The co-inventors are Aaron Brandt of Grantham and E. Michael Shipulski of Etna. The patent application was filed on Jan. 5, 2015 (14/589,270).

Laser Light Engines of Salem has been assigned a patent (9,395,597) developed by Ian Turner of Stratham for a “color-based stereoscopic projection system and method.” The patent application was filed on March 4, 2014 (14/195,910).

Dartmouth College of Hanover has been assigned a patent (9,395,425) developed by three co-inventors for a “method and apparatus for magnetic susceptibility tomography, magnetoencephalography, and taggant or contrast agent detection.” The co-inventors are Solomon Diamond of Hanover, Broc Burke of St. Louis and Bradley Ficko of West Lebanon. The patent application was filed on Aug. 23, 2013 (14/420,828).

KD&E Dynamics of Manchester has been assigned a patent (9,395,136) developed by Paul Kovalov, Manchester for a “flexible monocore baffle apparatus and related methods.” The patent application was filed on Jan. 16, 2015 (14/598,746).

DEKA Products of Manchester has been assigned a patent (9,393,131) developed by 12 co-inventors for an arm prosthetic device. The co-inventors are Christopher Evans of Amherst, N.
