Technical Support Working Group
The mission of the Technical Support Working Group (TSWG) is to identify, prioritize, and coordinate interagency and international research and development (R&D) requirements for combating terrorism. Through the Department of Defense’s Combating Terrorism Technical Support Office and funding provided by other agencies, the TSWG rapidly develops technologies and equipment to meet the high-priority needs of the combating terrorism community, and addresses joint international operational requirements through cooperative R&D with major allies.
Physical Security Enterprise & Analysis Group
Harmonize physical security material requirements to develop, demonstrate and evaluate emerging interoperable RDT&E solutions. Focus on closing DoD-wide capability gaps through investments resulting in programs of record, technology insertions, or commercial-off-the-shelf solutions. Leverage solutions across nuclear and on conventional physical security environments as well as counter nuclear threats.

Aberdeen Proving Grounds
APG is located in southern Harford County, Maryland, nearly midway between Washington, D.C. and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The installation is easily accessible from I-95 and U.S. Route 40. APG consists of 72,229 acres of land and water. There are two areas of APG- the Aberdeen Area/APG North and the Edgewood Area/APG South are separated by the Bush River.

Naval Base San Diego
Naval Base San Diego is the principal homeport of the Pacific Fleet, consisting of 46 Navy ships, one Coast Guard cutters, seven Military Sealift Command logistical support platforms, several research and auxiliary vessels. Naval Base San Diego is home to 213 individual commands, each having specific and specialized fleet support purposes. Naval Base San Diego proper is comprised of over 1,600 land acres and 326 acres of water. The base is also responsible for Commander, Navy Region Southwest and Naval Facilities Engineering Command Southwest headquarters located downtown San Diego, Naval Medical Center in Balboa Park and Admiral Baker recreation and golf course located in Mission Valley.

Ohmsett – The National Oil Spill Response Research & Renewable Energy Test Facility provides independent and objective performance testing of full-scale oil spill response equipment and marine renewable energy systems (wave energy conversion devices), and helps improve technologies through research and development.
